Workshop Media’s Jon Bailey takes a look at some of the quirks, annoyances and pet peeves of the Christmas Season in Workshop’s Christmas Humbugs!
I understand that businesses are busy leading up to the holiday period, I really do. I know that there is a lot of work to do in order to be able to close down for a few days or weeks. That’s fine. What I don’t understand is this: why do so many people switch on their voicemail on December 1st and don’t check it again until January? It becomes next to impossible to contact anyone for at least a month! The great grind to a halt! In any industry where you need to be in contact with other businesses, this can be a potentially disastrous situation, especially at such an expensive time of year. Every business should ensure that at least some of its workforce is able to answer enquiries and deal with the normal running of the company.
With that in mind Workshop Media will be back in January!
