Purchase
Once the customer has considered (and you have provided all the information they need to make a decision) , they should be ready to buy from you. It is simple isn’t it?
Not always. This is the phase where a lot of sales are lost for simple reasons.
Video Marketing and Purchase
Video marketing allows you to ‘be there in person’ when your customer has problems, needs to be directed or is having second thoughts. To do this online 24/7 would be incredibly difficult. This is where the real power of video marketing starts to show.
1. People buy from people
Without a doubt the relationship with your customer is the most powerful way you can convince them to buy. You need to start building it as early as possible. This is where the person in video marketing becomes important, keep the person consistent through the process to maintain the relationship and increase the trust through the stages.
2. Calls to action
People don’t do things unless you tell them to. That might seem dramatic but it’s true. If you give a strong direction as to the next step then more people are likely to take it. We are all familiar with call to action links on websites but you can include links within videos on You Tube. If you are not using You Tube make sure that the call to action link is included as close to the video as possible.
3. Provide help
If you are using an e-commerce site then ensure that there is a ‘how to’ instructional video people can watch to show them how to use your system correctly. By providing this visual guide you can ensure you are not losing any sales because people ‘don’t know what to do’.
